A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
Some of Applet works well, and some of Applet doesn't work
correctly in My WindowXP Korean Version, JDK1.3.1_02.
I confirm system property at Java Console and find that
whenever applet didn't work,
java.lang.NullPointerException is reported
and, "user.home" property isn't initialized correctly.
I do a login to my system not "Administrator", but my
korean name. (of course, It's Korean -> 정원희)
The "user.dir" property displayed correctly,
but "user.home" isn't.
I think that downloaded applet class isin't execute
because user's temporary internet directory value is
different, so "NullPointerException" message appeared.
Check this bugs and fix as possible as you can. Thanx.
-P.S-
A lot of WindowXp user in Korea issues of this problem
that "Applet isn't works well that runs well before".
STEPS TO FOLLOW TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM :
1. Install Windows XP Korean version and install JDK
1.3.1_02 or higher version. (Make user id to Korean)
2. Execute some applet.
3. You can find it so easily. Check java applet console.
EXPECTED VERSUS ACTUAL BEHAVIOR :
Property "user.home" value displayed correctly.
I think it is a main reason of this bug(?).
