      XPath is a very common and powerful technology for processing XML documents. the W3C DOM L3 XPath API is IDL generated and suboptimal for Java. in addition, XPath 2.0 cannot be supported by the W3C DOM L3 XPath APIs. this RFE will create a easy to use XPath API for XPath 1.0 while being architected for support of XPath 2.0.
