OS: Redhat Linux 7.2, 8.0 ja
JDK: Mantis jdk1.4.2 b16
Locale : eucJP
==========================================
Style(Italic/BoldItalic)on Monospaced/DialogInput can not be applied to ASCII character on Red Hat Linux using a awt component.
To reproduce;
1. Please login with a eucJP
2. Run CharView(attached)
3. Comes up CharView dialog.
4. Change the Font from "Serif" to "Monospased" or "DialogInput"
5. Change the style to "Italic"
You can see that the Italic are not applied to character and they remains plain.
6. Change the style to "BoldItalic"
You can see that the BoldItalic are not applied to character and they remain Bold.
*This problem does not occur on Serif/SansSerif/Dialog.
*This problem does not occur on C locale.
*This problem does not occur on 2D component.
*This problem is reproducible with jdk1.4.1 fcs also.
Therefore, this is not a regression.
