Our current implementation only has a very basic aix.fontconfig.properties file (jdk/src/aix/classes/sun/awt/fontconfigs/aix.fontconfig.properties) which contains the standard postscript fonts and probably only supports the default Latin encodings. It would be nice to get a better fontconfig file from our IBM colleagues which covers all the potential fonts and fonts/encodings pairs which may be installed on an AIX system.
