Windows 7 64 bit with Java 1.7.0u60b15 (64 bit) installed. Other platforms untested, but seen on Windows 8.1 with
Java 1.7.0u60b14 (32 bit), according to this:

Our own testing shows that Java 1.7.0u60b15 (32 bit) works on both Windows 7 32 bit and 64 bit.

Bug Description:
Internet Explorer 11 and Firefox 28.0 (and possibly other browsers) fail to recognise that the Java plugin has
been installed, hence applets do not load. The following URLs that all load an applet have been tested:
