jdk 1.1.5 windows pop-up always default position (0,0)

Customer said that jdk 1.1.5 will by default put pop-up windows at
position (0,0) top left corner. This is introduced in jdk 1.1.5 and
not at previous version such as jdk 1.1.3 or 1.1.4.

This problem can be seen even by the demo java application
CardTest bundled with jdk 1.1.5.
   $ java CardTest
This will pop the windows at the position (0,0) on top left corner.
