EOU: Make easier the download of the JRE

Since microsoft won't ship a jvm with windows xp, more people will try to download the jre from the sun web site (hopefully)
so now you have to make easier the download, especially for poeple with slow dialup connections (56k modem, the majority
here in italy). the worst that can happen is that the download is interrupted at 90% or so.

So here's my proposal: You should create a setup like the one for internet explorer: The user at first downloads a mini
setup (about 300k). when this "mini setup" is run it offers a choice of what components will be downloaded, then starts the
download of the "real jdk" setup. This program must be able to *resume* the download in case it gets interrupted, even if
the user restarts the download the day after. Moreover this tool will save the real jdk setup somewhere on the hard drive,
and tell the user that it has done this, so if necessary the user will be able to rerun the setup without downloading again.
I think that such a tool will be really helpful for the average user who is trying to download the jre (or even the jdk).

Please note that most people aren't experienced computer users, so the obvious solution, a download manager like getright,
isn't viable, because they even don't know of such programs. When JDK 1.4 ships i'd like to see a similar procedure for the
download.
