plugin icon in control panel disappears after rebooting Win98

This only happens on Windows 98 and cannot be reproduced on Windows ME,2000 or XP

- Install j2sdk or j2re.exe (Can reproduce it with older builds also )
- Go to setting->Control panel , there will a icon for Plugin
- Uninstall JDK/JRE from the system
- Go to Control Panel , Plugin Duke Icon is still there.
refresh the control panel and it never goes away , if u double click it pops up an error message for Missing HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->SOftware->Javasoft->Java Plugin->1.4.0

This problem was observed even on Windows 2K before beta2 and still exists with publicly available Beta2 at java.sun.com

- Reboot Windows and go to Control Panel , Duke icon corresponding to Plugin control panel is no more there
