Regression: Clock applet fails to load when console panel enabled, 1.4.0_04

With 1.4.0_04 plugin installed on Sparc 2.8, 2.9,Lin7.2 open the following link:
http://sqesvr.sfbay.sun.com/deployment1/ws/tests/autotests/mimetypes/testcases/Test_13.html

If console panel is not enabled, applet will load, if console panel (from control panel) is enabled, browser (NS4.7) will crash/hang.

These crashes do not occur on 1.4.0_03, regression

Even though the error occurs on Redhat 7.2, it not does not happen on 7.3.

Mistake in the description, IA 2.8 does not fail, it passes.
