    Description



      Name: nl37777 Date: 07/14/2003

      SuSE 8.1 changed the format of the /etc/SuSE-release file,
      which the font system uses to detect the version of the OS. For correct
      version dependent lookup of font configuration files, the code that
      extracts the version number needs to be updated.
