Java 1.5.0_08 breaks SquirrelSQL on Solaris x86

    Description

      After upgrading from Java 1.5.0_07 to 1.5.0_08 right mouse menu popups no longer work in SquirrelSQL (http://squirrel-sql.sourceforge.net/). To replicate, run SquirrelSQL and point it at a database. Select the 'Tables' item, then right click on a table name - a popup should appear.

      The platform in question is Solaris x86, specifically Nevada build 44 running the matched JDS/Gnome build. I've tested the same application on Win32 with both the _07 and _08 updates of 1.5.0 and right-menu popups work fine.

      I don't know which other applications might be affected, but his is a clear regression of important functionality.
