java jdk 1.5.0 pkgs dont change version string when updating from _06 to _08

for the following pkgs:
SUNWj5cfg
SUNWj5dev
SUNWj5dmo
SUNWj5jmp
SUNWj5man
SUNWj5rt

previous pkg had the following in pkginfo:
Name: JDK 5.0 Host Config. (1.5.0_06)
Version 1.5.0,REV=2004.12.06.22.53

newest pkg from java.com has following:
Name: JDK 5.0 Host Config. (1.5.0_08)
Version 1.5.0,REV=2004.12.06.22.53

note that the Name field indicates a newer build/version, but the Version strings are identical. this prevents the iWork pkgupdater tool from installing the newer revs.
