Costco Photo Center - uploader does not run when "Show Console" is enabled with 1.5.0_20 on RHEL5.3

JDK/JRE tested: 5.0u20 (b02, SE & j4b, also b03 revision).
OS/architecture: x86
Reproducible: Always
Reproducible on machine: nixer.ireland (RHEL5.3)
Is it a platform specific regression: N.
Is it a browser specific regression: Y, specific to Mozilla Firefox family.
Reproducible with Browser Version: Firefox 3.5.1, Firefox 3.0.12 & Firefox 2.0.0.12.
Is it a Regression: Y
[If yes] Regression introduced in release/build: 5.0u20-ea-b01 (both SE & j4b).
[If yes] Test result on FCS: Pass (on 5.0u19-b02 & 5.0FCS release), seems to be regressions from 5.0u19 & 5.0u20.
Test run log location: No Java exception produced on console. Attached are reports from Evergreen.


Steps to reproduce:
1. Browse to http://www.costcophotocenter.com
2. Setup an account if you haven't had one
3. Log in to your account
4. Click 'Create New Album'
5. Click 'upload to this album'
6. Click 'I agree'
7. An applet should be loaded
8. Check if you can see the whole applet area, not any grey area
   Click 'select photos' to select and upload any photo.
9. Check Java Console for warnings/errors.
  Close all applet/browser windows to terminate the applet.

# Actual behavior:
1.The applet can't load when showing java console.

2.The applet can run normally when hiding java console.

#Expected behavior:
The applet can run normally when showing java console.

# Java console exceptions:
None.

where FAIL indicates applet did not load at all.
where PASS indicated applet loaded correctly.

NOTE: For 6u13 & 6u15 (new-plugin, libnpjp2.so) applet loaded fine with Firefox 3.5.1 & 3.0.12 with Java Console enabled or disabled.

On Windows using IE this was not reproducible as Costco Photo Center uses different method (ActiveX).

On Windows using Firefox 3.5.2 I got "exception: netscape.javascript.JSException" in bottom-left corner of Firefox browser window with 5.0u20 (with both Show Console, Hide Console selected). On Windows (with both IE & Firefox 3.5.1 + 6u13 jre) applet runs fine with or with Show Console enabled.

I will check Solaris system and update bug later.
