Silent install fails when launched with options

FULL PRODUCT VERSION :

A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
When I try to launch a java silent installation, it fails showing a windows explaining the MSI options available, meaning that the .exe failed to launch a well-formed command for the MSI installer.

Here is the command:

jre-7u4-windows-i586.exe /s INSTALLDIR="C:\Program Files (x86)\MyApp\Java" STATIC=1 /L "C:\Program Files (x86)\MyApp\log\jre_7_inst.log"

Same happens with JRE 6.

REGRESSION. Last worked in version 6u31

STEPS TO FOLLOW TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM :
Launch this command:
jre-7u4-windows-i586.exe /s INSTALLDIR="C:\Program Files (x86)\MyApp\Java" STATIC=1 /L "C:\Program Files (x86)\MyApp\log\jre_7_inst.log"

EXPECTED VERSUS ACTUAL BEHAVIOR :
EXPECTED -
Silent installation of the JRE according to the specified paramenters
ACTUAL -
Failed to install due an erro rlaunchi the MSI installer.

ERROR MESSAGES/STACK TRACES THAT OCCUR :
It is a window popup, hence I can't attach it here.

REPRODUCIBILITY :
This bug can be reproduced always.
