demo/jvmti/mtrace/TraceJFrame.java crashes due to SIGSEGV on Solaris-X64

In my baseline testing of JDK8-B45 on Solaris X64, I noticed that
the following JVM/TI demo test was failing:

    demo/jvmti/mtrace/TraceJFrame.java

This test failed in all eight of my Solaris X64 configs with
error messages like the following:
