There are several pointers in the Java entry in the Windows Control Panel Programs and Features section. One of which is labeled "Update Information" and it is pointing to http://java.sun.com, while this currently redirects to the Java SE OTN site, it would be better for it to point to the java.com/verify so the user can check if they have the most up-to-date version and if not they will be directed to the latest.
