There are very few tests for rmic in the jdk repo. This makes it really hard to be confident when changing this code. The changes for JEP 220 and the refresh of the jimage implementation are two recent examples where changes to this code have been necessary. It would be good to have a few basic tests for this tool in the jdk repository.
