        This is the same issue as in closed JDK-8049693 -- it cannot be a duplicate of JDK-8017063 since the last one is for JDK6. This issue is applicable to JDK9 and most probably 8.

        The test should be fixed in several respects:
        (1) PWD everywhere should be cygpath -m $PWD for Cygwin
        (2) several more path variables should not be in POSIX notation as well
        (3) there's no ${SystemRoot} in Cygwin: there's ${SYSTEMROOT} instead.
