Description
Attempt to update to JRE 8u71 from JRE 8u66 failed with "Java install did not complete Error Code: 1632"

Initially, user was unsuccessful to remove older versions of JRE from his system. He received following error message -
"Windows Installer - The Temp folder is on a drive that is full or is inaccessible. Free up some space on the drive or verify that you have write permission on the Temp folder."
User had administrator rights with all drives being accessible and not full.
Subsequently, managed to uninstall older versions from the system, but error 1632 still persist. Downloaded Java Installer again from Chrome, Internet Explore as well Firefox with similar results. When the Installer starts, the usual "3 billion..." message flashes, but it is immediately replaced by "Java install did not complete Error Code: 1632"
The error definition for 1632 is:
ERROR_INSTALL_TEMP_UNWRITABLE 1632 The Temp folder is either full or inaccessible. Verify that the Temp folder exists and that you can write to it.
Checked TMP and TEMP folder settings and even added another location to it, not on the system disk C. Further, switched off protection of system disk, but to no advantage.

User has shared install logs from the system (added in the link to the comments). From the log it appears to be an issue with Java registry entries in the Windows registry. Perhaps the registry keys failed to be removed during uninstall process.
