Unable to clear JWS cache in 9 ea b117

While attempting to clear cache (Removing temporary Internet Files) from Java Control Panel in 9 ea b117, received following error message
Error encountered while invoking Java Web Start (SysExec)
C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre=9\bin\jp2launcher.exe

Steps to Reproduce:
Launch Java Control Panel
Go to General -> Select Settings from Temporary Internet Files
Click on Delete Files
This will launch Cache Viewer dialog indicating, Please wait while the selected applications are removed. However, failed to remove the files with Java Web Start error dialog (see attached screenshot).
Note: Haven't observed this issue in the earlier 9 ea builds, therefore considering this as a regression.
