Solaris: deprecated/obsolete compiler flags should be removed

    Description

      On Solaris several deprecated and/or obsolete compiler flags are being used. These should be removed. The candidate list is:

          -xildoff
          -xstrconst
          -qchars=signed
          -qfullpath
          -qsaveopt
