JDK-8166457 | 9 | Alan Burlison | P4 | Resolved | Fixed | team |
Description
/usr/ccs/bin became a symlink to /usr/bin in Solaris 11 (https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23824_01/html/E23811/glmqk.html#glmqu), /opt/sfw was the old Solaris Companion CD which Oracle no longer funds and /opt/csw is another path used only by third-party utilities (Blastwave). All the utilities needed to build Java are now provided by the standard Solaris repositories so these paths can be removed from the JDK source.
