-Xcheck:jni prints format specifier instead of numbers for JNI local refs exceeds capacity

E.g. message displayed is:

WARNING: JNI local refs: zu, exceeds capacity: zu
        at java.lang.System.initProperties(Native Method)
        at java.lang.System.initializeSystemClass(Unknown Source)

It seems 'zu' is referring to the printf format specifier for size_t
