        ISO 4217 Amendment Number 166
        Effective from 4 June 2018, the following change will be made to “List one: Currency, fund and precious metal codes”:
        VENEZUELA (BOLIVARIAN REPUBLIC OF) Bolívar Soberano VES 928 2
        The Central Bank of Venezuela is carrying out a re-denomination of their local currency, with the entry into circulation of the BOLIVAR SOBERANO. The conversion rate is 1000 (old) Bolívar to 1 (new) Bolívar Soberano (1000:1).

        The expiration date of the current bolívar will be defined later and communicated by the Central Bank of Venezuela in due time.

        Effective from this date, the following change will be made to “List three: Codes for historic denominations of currencies and funds”:

        VENEZUELA (BOLIVARIAN REPUBLIC OF) Bolívar VEF 937 2
