Text in table cells has inconsistent alignment

Text in table cells generated by javadoc has varying vertical alignment depending on the type of text. Preformatted content has different top padding than plain text. This causes text in neighboring cells to be vertically misaligned (see attached screenshot). Having text vertically alligned would probably improve readability.
