The change done for ~~JDK-8258647~~ removes the requires tags, hence the test is executed for a client VM with the VM flags MaxVectorSize which is unrecognized:

Unrecognized VM option 'MaxVectorSize=8'
Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine.
Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit.
