Select multiple tests in the tree, not folders. Right click on them and select Execute These Tests. As they run, you can see that some are replaced with new results and the selection shown on the right panel changes from what was originally selected (fewer tests selected now). You may need to execute tests which will change status after they run (from Not Run to Pass, etc...).
