Javatest 4.2 (applicable since jt4.0).
Tools/Report Converter has ability to merge multiple XML reports together. If two or more reports have test with same TestURL - Harness opens a "Conflict Resolution" windo where user is asked what source it should select. During this dialog user can only see test name and its result. This should be enough for most of the cases, but sometimes tests are very specific.
For example TestSuite may implement a benchmark-style test that reports complicated statistics. And user should be able to see it to make his decision.
This request asks Harness to:
1. Enhance Conflict Resolution window in such a way that user may see more information from XML report, then just a test name and result. I.e. to see Properties, logs, etc.
2. Allow TestSuites to plugin custom modules to Conflict Resulution window, so test results can be compared in a custom way.
2) can be a technical background for 1) - becuase 1) can be implemented as a "default" custom viewer that would just show user text comparison between 2 <TestResult> XML elements.
