WIth upcoming "lite" versions of the harness and module mode in the near future, the harness should be able to provide info so we know what mode it was running in.

Probably best put into ProductInfo class. From there, it can be seen by classes such as TestResult, TestRunner or Script so it can be injected into test results (different enhancement).
