Currently @require should be specified for each test explicitly.
But usually test are organized in a tree structure when all tests in the directory/subdirectories test the same area and as a result have the same dependency.
For example all tests in test/hotspot/jtreg/serviceability/jvmti depend on presence of JVMTI (i.e. have @requires vm.jvmti). It would be convenient to specify the @require for the whole directory tree
