Hello,

I've been doing some applet programming for the local Sun branch here
in Michigan, for use in demonstrations to Ford Motor Co. (My contacts
at Sun have been Barry McNealy and Brian Foley.)

I've been stumped by some bugs in my applets (pre-beta JDK) related to
layout() and show(), and I was wondering if you or someone you know
could help me out.

I'm the only Java programmer here at my company, and the people at Sun
upstairs don't have any programmers either, so I've been at a loss as
to who I could turn to for help. (And because these applets are
jointly being used by my company and Sun, I didn't want to publicly
ask on the mailing lists or USENET.)

I have a stripped down version of the demonstration (with
descriptions of the problem) at:
