The applet at http://galt.cs.nyu.edu/andruid/groove.html puts up a panel
containing four colored squares, then changes the color of the squares according
to characteristins of music "played" by the applet. On NT, on first start and
restart of the applet the size of the panel containing the squares fits the size
of the squares themselves. On Solaris, on startup there is a white area below
and right of the squares that isn't painted. On restart that area is painted,
but the subsequent squares are painted only in the original area, garbling the
applet. The same sort of problem can be forced on NT by resizing, but when
you restart the applet correects itself, unlike on Solaris.
