Mac treats '/' character specially in choice items

      On the Mac, the '/' character is special in choice items, indicating that the
      next character is to be used as a command key shortcut for that menu. This
      behavior is different than on other platforms (e.g. Solaris) and therefore
      wrong.

      Attached are a test program and screen shots documenting the configuration and
      results of running it on a Mac under Natural Intelligence's Roaster IDE, on a
      Mac under JDK 1.0.2, and on Solaris under JWS 1.0. (Note, I did not write
      any way for the application to exit so on Solaris at least you have to kill
      it.)
