There is a beep() method on java.awt.Toolkit. I think that support should
be added to allow the programmer to control both the duration and the
pitch of the beeping if it's going to be very useful. I know that I'd
find that very useful. In general, I notice that there isn't much ability
for programmers to produce useful audio output yet in Java.

Just a suggestion, though...
