I'm running jdk1.1fcs on Solaris 2.6 build 26 under the Turkish locale. I am
using a java program PrintDraw.java (attachment1) to test input/output/fonts for
Eastern European locales. In the tr locale (iso8859-9) I can input 8859-9 characters like s(cedilla),g(caron). These characters
display correctly in the input text field but are not displayed at all when
I attempt to render them to the canvas.
