Though everything else checked out fine (postponing ereg, never registering, canceling, etc.), it is when I attempt to email my form that ereg crashes for me as well.
The first time I attempt to send the form via email, I usally receive the message already noted above. However, if I try to submit it again, the program core dumps. Attached to this report are two core files saved from the crashes.
(NOTE: s297_28 did not have this problem.)

When I set up a normal user From admintool an tried to ereg as this user every thing worked okayand I recevied an email back from the people at ###@###.### were confirming my registration.
I then tried to register as root it refuses to send my e-mail.
This could be possibly stem from the problem with dtmail which won't launc as root.

I installed java build 18 using native threads and I launched ereg with a user id 10 and I was to send the registration form.
With a user with id 14 (super user) I was unable to send the registration form.
I also get a core dump. After futher invesgation I discoverd this was a dtmail problem. Bugid 4036230. I have updated this bug to indicate that it is effecting the use of ereg.
