Dialogs on JDK 1.1.1 fill up the whole screen, regardless of setSize(). An example is with HotJava, when running an applet that connects back to a server in "Medium Security" mode, the dialogs asking whether to allow the connection take up the full screen. This didn't happen under JDK 1.1_final.
This happens under Solaris, not sure about Windows.
