... the following is how this bug manifests itself during a webstart install in solaris 2.6 -- this is because of incorrect entries in the font.properties files for these locales - affecting dialog.bold and monospaced.bold fonts (see the evaluation for more information, and a suggested fix...)

The button for starting the web start package has no text.
This appears as two small buttons at the bottom of the first screen are very similar with no distingushing features.
So one does not know what they are choosing.
The same problem occurs when you are aske to begin installation. Two butons no text, no idea of what you are choosing.
Also the web start message screen has no text.

We re-ran the BBI installs on s297_33 on a sparc 4u and 4m machines. The locales that this problem occured in were..... Czech, Hungarian, Polish and Russian.
No other locales produced the problem.
We are currently testing it on x86 to see if the same problem will occur.
