JavaDoc specification for InetAddress.getHostName is not clear on whether it is required to return a simple host name (satchmo) or a fully qualified domain name (satchmo.Eng.Sun.Com). It should also specify whether either of these two behaviors, or other possible behaviors are optionally allowed.
