JDK-2016123 | 1.2.0 | Paul Young | P2 | Resolved | Fixed | 1.2beta2 |
Description
- every other time you resize the frame, the components derived
from Panel will have an extra pixel in their border. This causes
a real problem when you have multiple containers, since each one
causes an additional pixel to be added.
- example code is in /home/cotton/src/extrapixel/ExtraPixel.java
and in /home/cotton/src/extrapixel/ExtremeCase.java
just run the ExtremeCase to see how bad it really is.
java ExtremeCase
I added the example files as attachments (not sure if that works or not)
The bug only shows up on the Solaris version (it is fine on Windows).
