JDK-2016493 | 1.2.0 | Paul Young | P2 | Resolved | Fixed | 1.2beta2 |
[katakai 8/13/97 JST]
With JDK1.1.4, frame of HotJava Browser jumps up and down at startup.
I copied JDK1.1.4(I don't know exact build name, but copied at 8/4) and tried
with HJB1.1. But frame of HJB always jumps up and down at start up.
The problem happens in both C and japanese locales and does not happen on
JDK1.1.3. So it's a regression.
The IM status fix 4041569 had been integrated into JDK1.1.4 and I think it
causes the problem. The fix had been integrated into Solaris JVM also,
and SunSoft found the problem that frame jumps up and SunSoft had fixed
Solaris JVM (4061327). SunSoft's fix needs to be integrated into JavaSoft JDK.
