A link that has that colon in the url returns bad link

The pages work fine with netscape, internet explorer and lynx.
The urls looks something like this
    http://host.se/file.html?id=5:4
when hotjava finds a link that has that colon in the url it says bad
link but there is nothing wrong with the link.

Go to http://www.lh.umu.se/FAQ/faq.html?id=0 click on one of the
"groups" and you will see what I mean.
