Policytool is behaving very weird on NT. Probably this may be an AWT
problem, I don't know.
1) "Add Policy Entry" displays a form for CodeBase and SignedBy with fields
in black color. Whatever I type, I cannot see in these fields. Probably,
the letters are also displayed in black (black on black ?)
2) If I make the window larger or smaller, then it weird graphics is
getting displayed.
This was noticed on NT, with JDK1.2J build.
Note that all these things work well on Solaris

i attached a small program which simulates a subset of policytool,
which i believe exposes the bug and narrows the scope as to where
it might lie. this program opens a window with a single button.
upon pressing the button, a dialog box appears with a textfield.
that's it.
on solaris, the background in the textfield appears white.
therefore a user typing characters into the textfield can see them.
however, on NT, the background in the textfield appears black.
because of this, you can't see the characters typed in.
