Customer created an applet/application with J++ and discovered a bug when trying to use the menu bar - no items show up, even when you click on the area where the menu bar is: the entire region where the menu bar should be reverses its color, but still doesn't reveal any menu item text. The menu item has 3 choices under it which do show up when you click in the menu region, and those items are selectable and function normally. This may be a duplicate of 4038140 (which mentions another bug whose id I couldn't find), but since nothing has been done since that bug was entered (as far as I can tell) I decided to enter another one. This was tested on Win95 and NT4.0 with 1.1.2, 1.1.3, 1.1.4 and 1.2EA1 (1.2 generated a number of exceptions on running the application). The solaris version works normally. The code was generated with J++1.1, and I've commented all sql related calls for testing. See attached files for the source or look in the tmodel directory off of my home dir. Please inform me of any workarounds.
