In the swing demo's Notepad, Stylepad and SwingSet the menuitems connected to the top menubar are not always selectable on the first try. In order to select, you need to try once, let go of the mouse button, and try again. This only occurs on Windows95 and WindowsNT.

Steps to Reproduce
0) Set all corrects paths and system variables.
1) Recompile the Stylepad demo (the win32.mak file did not work for me even with adjustments. I just typed "javac *.java" and that worked.
2) Run using the runnit file.
3) Select some text by using the cursor to select it.
4) Attempt to select a menuitem from the Color menu.
RESULT: The first attempt to select a menuitem is unsuccessful. The item will not allow itself to be highlight. If you let go of the mouse button and try again, it will probably work.

This occurs with 256 colors.
