To fix bug 4062122 in Java WorkShop's JDK, we integrated a change from JavaSoft.
Only part of that change appeared in JDK 1.1.4. We need to know if the
remaining part of the change is going to be integrated in JavaSoft's code
or if it is unnecessary and should be removed. See bug 4062122 for
background. The code in question is shown in the Comments section of
this bug report.
