NOTE: To see what David wants, look at the web pages that David sent:
http://javaweb.eng/docs/bugs/javadoc-bugs/javadoc/bug4096438-javabeansections
(dkramer)
I would like javadoc to be extended so that it
is more knowledgeable of Java Beans and
puts the listing of property editor, bean info, and
customizers in a separate section in the
Package-xxxx.html file. Most people reading
these docs want the "main" classes; the
property editors, bean info, and customizer
classes are there for the builder tools and tend
to pollute a package listing of classes by 4x
the number of classes. I'd like to see separate
sections listed as:
[This corresponds to package-summary.html page in 1.2 -- dkramer]
Interface Summary
Class Summary
Exception Summary
Java Bean Summary
BeanInfo
Customizers
Property Editors
This would make the Package-xxx.html file
much more readable.
Please note: SAS Institute is a JDK LICENSEE
(I was told to mention that in bug/feature
requests.)
