I am using the following:

Product : HotJava Views 1.1 binary
Version : build "aa"
Date : 11/26/97

Product : JDK1.2
Version : beta2 X
Path : /usr/local/java/jdk1.2
Steps to reproducing the bug:

1. Start HJV (Tested on Solaris only)
2. Wait for the Welcome window to appear
3. Go to WebView
4. Click on the 'Change Character Set' button and select any Character Set (eg. Japanese)
You will noticed that HJV will suddenly crash with a bus error. The log file is
attached.

Note: If you select 'HTML Source' from the View menu in WebView the result is the same.
