JDK Version: JDK1.2beta2-Y
Hotjava: HJB 1.1 for Win32
Problem only occurs on Windows 95.
Steps to reproduce:-
0. Launch hotjava (after setting JDK_HOME to point to JDK1.2beta2-Y).
1. Go to www.news.com. Place your mouse somewhere outside the hotjava window while the page is loading.
3. Allow the page to load completely.
4. Now, drag your mouse over the top-most animated gif.
5. An error dialog pops up with the following info (click Details):
This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shutdown.
If the problem persists, please contact the program vendor.

6. Click Close and hotjava closes.
Currently, you can cause the crash by moving the mouse over two different gifs on this page. The one mentioned above and also another one to the bottom left corner. The same error as above occurs.
hotjava also crashes (with same error) when mouse is dragged over certain gifs in http://espnet.sportszone.com.
