If you install kaffe 0.92 (www.kaffe.org)
and your LD_LIBRARY_PATH has /usr/local/lib first
(or maybe at all) and you don't have
${JAVA_HOME}/lib/sparc/green_threads first
in LD_LIB... then you'll get strange stack
trace mentioned in the above bug report.
Ditto for JRE and all kinds of CLASSPATH
mods don't change a thing.

As someone suggested maybe the java shell
script should put it's lib *first* in
LD_LIB...
